The unseen faces of World War II and the participation of Cyprus and Greece, in an exhibition at the Bank of Cyprus Cultural Foundation. World War II is described as the deadliest conflict mankind has ever known. Large – scale battles, immense disasters and incalculable human losses. People died of starvation and others lost their lives in Hitler’s concentration camps. Behind all these are people and images. Anonymous heroes who achieved great things.
